DJ SWISS' NUFF TALKING VOL.1 RE-RELEASE

If you're just getting familiar with the Nuff Talking series, volume 1 was the start to all the mayhem it has created. A couple of times a year Dj Swiss releases a new volume of his anticipated R&B cd. This time he decided to remind everyone of one of his favourites, the classic. This is no regular mixtape though, it's the kind of mixtape you listen to when you're with that special someone - that babymaking music. LINE? Love it.

A couple of weeks ago I had the privilege to attend the LINE knitwear [http://www.lineknitwear.com/] encore runway show at LG Fashion Week Fall 2011. I was more than impressed, so I searched for their Spring Collection 2011. You know when you watch certain fashion shows you say to yourself, "I could never wear that or even try to pull that off". Yeah, that's because most of the clothes are great for the runway but way too extreme for the streets. LINE is definitely a ready to wear line; either on the street, to a special event, or even work. There are too many outfits i want in my closet. With good quality knits and a mix of different materials, there are plenty of cutoff shirts paired with high waisted pants- love the look. Also, great one piece jumpers and dresses.

The heavier knits (Fall Colletion) were also nice with a side of fierce. A lot of knits paired with fur and leather. Well check it out for yourself.

Spring/Summer Trend:: BRIGHT LIPS !!

I [HEART] BRIGHT LIPS! This trend was/is present on many runways of Fashion Weeks, as well as right here in Toronto. Even though I find it hard for myself to pull off these bright neon colours, they shout out spring, and can be the last finishing touches on your look. However, please please please do not go crazy with your makeup when wearing bright lips. Pair your bright lips with subtle eyes, or else its going to be way to much going on with your face. For me, ive found the love of a fushia pink shade from Mac. Get one that matches your complexion. I'm not a makeup artist so I definitely searched google (LOL):

Fair Skin Tones: Pink undertones- can do a pink toned orange to a warm red.

Medium Tones: Blue based reds and pinks.

Dark Tones: Plum colours are best, different shades of brown & bronze can be incredibly attractive. Sandy colors will be perfect on dark skinned full lips. Can also pull off a contrasting pink.
